Statement From Theatre Forum Board of Directors & Executive Team

Since October, approximately 30,000 people have been killed in Gaza, over 65,000 have been injured. 17,000 children are unaccompanied. Over 1,900,000 Palestinians in Gaza are at imminent risk of forced starvation and lack access to clean water, healthcare and the conditions necessary to life.*

Theatre Forum recognises the importance of art & artists in society and the impossibility for artists to live and work or even survive in the current conditions in Gaza and the West Bank.

Palestinian artists are part of our local and global artistic community and have made important contributions to the arts in Ireland. We stand with you.

We join with artists and citizens across the world calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza and support for those agencies doing vital work to bring food and humanitarian medical aid to the people there.
