The Lir is the National Academy of Dramatic Art at Trinity College Dublin. Its aim is to train young actors, designers, directors, playwrights, stage managers and theatre technicians to the highest international standards for careers in the theatre and allied professions.
Theatre Lovett produce work for young and old. Since our foundation in 2010 we have had four Dublin Theatre Festival premieres and have toured extensively both nationally and internationally. 2016 touring includes The Kennedy Centre and The Wallis Annenberg Centre, LA. Recent productions: The True Story of Hansel and Gretel (DTF 2015); Mr. Foley, The Radio Operator; A Feast of Bones (DTF 2013); The Girl who Forgot to Sing Badly (The Ark/Theatre Lovett).

Tríona Ní Dhuibhir is an Arts Consultant, a singer/songwriter and an Irish Language storyteller. As an Arts Consultant, she specialises in support to arts organisations through team and board facilitation, in strategic planning and on financial systems. She provides support to individual artists as producing consultant and on funding applications. Tríona developed and honed these skills in her previous roles as General Manager of Dublin Theatre Festival (2007 – 2018), General Manager and Producer at Barabbas Theatre Company (2002 – 2007) and Production Coordinator then Production Director of Daghdha Dance Company (1999 – 2002). Current clients include Pan Pan Theatre Company, First Fortnight, Dublin Youth Dance Company, Pavilion Theatre and individual theatre artists.
