Theatre Forum has developed and collected together the following resources to support touring in Ireland:
Touring Forum
Theatre Forum in association with Association of Irish Stage Technicians (AIST) has held two Touring Forums to date (April 2017 & January 2018). These fora bring venue managers, technical managers, producers, directors, performers, makers, designers, production managers, technicians and organisation representatives together to help us to develop a series of touring resources. We recorded the most recent Touring Forum sessions which you can see here.
Tourbook
Developed in Scotland by think.in.form, the purpose of Tourbook is to support promoters and programmers in presenting work, thereby creating work for makers and artists and giving more audiences opportunities to participate in the arts. In 2017, Theatre Forum and Theatre NI, funded by the Arts Council/AnChomhaírle Ealaíon, were involved in bringing Tourbook to the island of Ireland. Have a look at Tourbook here.
Venue Network information
NASC Theatre Network
NASC is an Irish word meaning link or relationship, and describes the linking of venues to develop touring programmes. The network was conceived in 2006 when a number of venue directors met to discuss joint programming and marketing opportunities. The NASC network includes the following venues: An Grianán (Donegal), glór (Ennis), Siamsa Tíre (Tralee), The Pavilion Theatre (Dun Laoghaire), Lime Tree Theatre (Limerick), Dunamaise Arts Centre (Port Laoise), Town Hall Theatre (Galway), Backstage Theatre (Longford).

Nomad Theatre Network
NOMAD was set up in January 2006 to further the development of the performing arts in the North Midlands region and extend the parameters of regional, national and international performances available to venues and their audiences. The venues in the network are: An Grianán (Letterkenny), Backstage (Longford), Droichead Arts Centre (Drogheda), Mullingar Arts Centre (Mullingar), Ramor Theatre (Virginia), Riverbank (Newbridge), Roscommon Arts Centre (Roscommon), Hawk’s Well Theatre (Sligo).

Strollers Theatre Network
The Strollers Network is Ireland’s largest consortium of Art Centres. It is a partnership made up of ten venues from across four regions of the country including: Belltable (Limerick), Draíocht (Dublin), Watergate (Kilkenny), Solstice (Navan), Visual (Carlow), Linenhall (Mayo), Hawkswell Theatre (Sligo), Riverbank (Kildare), Source (Tipperary) and Siamsa Tire (Kerry). Collectively the network represents one fifth of all publicly funded Arts Centres nationally.

Imeall
Focus on co-productions and tours to venues located in the M50 commuter belt. The venues in the network are: axis (Ballymun), Civic Theatre (Tallaght), Draíocht (Blanchardstown), Mermaid Arts Centre (Bray).

Shortworks
The Network membership is made up of multi-disciplinary venues who programme year round and across artforms for children. Draíocht (Blanchardstown), The Linenhall (Castlebar), Riverbank (Newbridge), The Ark, (Dublin).

South East Venue Network (SEVN)
The South East Venue Network (SEVN) is a voluntary network of venues in the South East supporting arts programme development and artists and sharing information to further enhance sustainability of venues in the South East. The venues included in the network are Courthouse Tinahely, Wicklow, Garter Lane Waterford, Mermaid Arts Centre, National Opera House, Theatre Royal Waterford, Visual, Carlow, Watergate Kilkenny and Wexford Arts Centre.
