Monkey Backstage is a theatre company formulated in 2013. Keith-James Walker is the artistic director. The company’s first production was The Bear’s Tuxedoin Theatre Upstairs starring Kieran Roche and written by Keith-James Walker. Its next production was How To Build Your First Robot which premiered in the Dublin Fringe Festival and was nominated for the Bewleys Little Gem Award and was directed by Sarah Finlay. It starred Ger Adlum and Keith-James Walker and was written by Keith-James Walker and Ian Toner. Walkinstown will be the company’s third production to date.
