Theatre Seminars at the Gaiety School of Acting
Fortnightly evening course
Theatre Talks, delivered over a ten-week period with sessions taking place every fortnight, is aimed at students with an interest in theatre, but who do not have necessarily have the desire to be on stage.
A place will be prescribed each fortnight and students will be asked to read this in their own time. A discussion group will then focus on various aspects of the play such as the social context in which the play was written, character development, story arc, etc.
These talks will be led by a highly knowledgeable theatre practitioner who will encourage open discussion and engagement from all present. In addition, there will be a theatre visit to a Dublin theatre during the course.
