Galway Traveller Movement presents the world premiere of Night Shift, a new play by Rosaleen McDonagh, as part of Misleór Festival of Nomadic Cultures.

Noreen is a Traveller. Piotr is not. They are in a relationship which Noreen feels must be kept secret from the rest of the world, which causes tension between her and Piotr. Together they are navigating the societal expectations surrounding their relationship and have some tough decisions to make along the way…

Directed by Thomas Connors, this contemporary drama is sure to tug at your heartstrings as you follow Noreen and Piotr on their journey throughout the play.

Rosaleen McDonagh is an Irish Traveller playwright, social worker, and activist. Her play Walls and Windows premiered in the Abbey Theatre in August 2021 to rave reviews, and her book Unsettled was extremely well received.
