Dublin Needs Dancefloors Panel Discussion
Club culture is culture and artists are the ones to bring our dancefloors back to life!
Are you looking to start a club night but don’t know how? Do you have a club night that you’re thinking of expanding? Want to know how to secure sponsorship and licensing?
To find out the answers to these questions, and more, then make sure you don’t miss the Dublin Needs Dancefloors panel discussion on the 16 November at 6.30pm, taking place at FRINGE LAB at Dublin Fringe HQ.
FRINGE LAB is delighted to host an evening of conversation chaired by Dublin Fringe Associate Artist Dafe Orugbo, with panellists Lisa Connell (Mother), Monjola (Chamomile Club) and Michal Mencnarowski (Rathaus) who will be ready to discuss all things club culture.
Lisa is the co-founder of iconic queer club night Mother which has grown to be recognised as a cultural mainstay in the city, Monjola is co-creator of Chamomile Club which pops up to take over city centre locations in highly creative immersive ways, and Michal is founder of Rathaus, a photo-free, discrimination-free techno and pop night.
The artists will be discussing what it takes to set up your own night, from funding, acts, branding, sponsors and more.
