Access Into Action: Subtitling Online Content
Arts & Disability Ireland presents Access into Action, a webinar series developed to support Irish arts and culture professionals to create accessible content and experiences for audiences with disabilities.
Access into Action will provide practical knowledge that can be put into immediate action. Each webinar will provide a brief context, explore why an aspect of access is important, discuss the benefit for audiences, share practical know-how and close with a facilitated Q&A to ensure participants get the most out of each session.
To kick-start the series, we have Oli Webster, Programme Systems Manager at Stagetext, who will present Subtitling Online Content on Tuesday 14th July at 11am.

Oli will briefly cover some of the reasons we use subtitles, the wider benefits of their usage, some quick tips for improving the online access you offer, and finally there will be a 20-minute Q&A session.
Each webinar will have live speech to text provided by MyClearText, and Irish Sign Language (ISL) interpretation is available on request. Requests for ISL should be made by 4pm on Tuesday 7th July by emailing our Event Manager Síle Stewart at sile@adiarts.ie
