Technical Manager

The Technical Manager of the Gate Theatre will work closely with the Head of Production and Operations and is responsible for the technical and staging requirements of all the performance areas within the building.

They are also responsible for overseeing/advising on the technical requirements of other programme areas such as community projects or assisting other departments with technical requirements e.g. community work or marketing.

The Technical Manager has line management responsibility for full-time, part-time and contract technical staff. The role operates both onsite at the Gate premises and off site on location asrequired for Gate Performance Tours.
