As Graffiti approaches its 40th anniversary, we are looking for a dynamic, talented and highly motivated individual to deputise and lead the Creative Learning Programme over the course of the current director’s maternity leave.

The role comprises two main areas: Creative Learning and Activate Youth Theatre.

Creative Learning

Graffiti’s Creative Learning programme comprises a range of high quality workshop offerings to schools and other settings. These range from drama skills to workshops helping children prepare for the move to Secondary school, to performance based subject specific pieces.

Activate Youth Theatre

Graffiti’s Activate Youth Theatre programme comprises five groups ranging from 8 to 18 years of age with almost 100 members. They meet weekly for facilitated drama workshops here at Graffiti, facilitated by Graffiti’s Activate Director and a dedicated team of drama facilitators.

Terms

Duration: Specified purpose contract – Duration of maternity leave

Hours: Full time (with some evening work, with time off in lieu in working week)

Location: Graffiti, Blackpool, Cork

Reports to: Artistic Director & CEO

Salary: €40,044 per annum

Please note: This role is subject to successful completion of Garda vetting
