Job Description – Company Administrator

Macnas is seeking a Company Administrator. This is an opportunity for a curious and hard-working individual, with a strong interest in developing a career in the arts sector.


  • Supporting Macnas in all aspects of the production and delivery of large-scale spectacle theatre.
  • Supporting the company’s extensive programme of arts engagement, education and public participation.
  • Organising the office and home base



  • Be the initial point of contact for Macnas, ensuring that this role is covered at all times.
  • Organise the smooth running of the office, handling issues relating to maintenance, cleaning, equipment and insurance.
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Work with Designers and Printers.
  • · Assist colleagues whenever necessary.


  • Organise the advance planning, logistical and administrative arrangements for all presentations, in Ireland and for international touring, in line with the requirements of the Producer and Artistic Director. 

This will include:
  • Communicating regularly with those involved in the performances/travel to ensure they are kept up to date on all arrangements and handling their queries.
  • Booking flights and accommodation and circulating details to those involved.
  • Arranging visas for those travelling.
  • Managing financial arrangements including cash for float.
administer health and travel insurance for touring company on all tour dates (on top of yearly policy cover for PL, EL, Property).
