Salary: €32,000 with the potential for an incremental increase after year 1 and year 2.

Full-time, permanent (dependent on annual funding).

We are currently looking to appoint a new full-time Arts Access Officer. The Arts Access Officer will report to and is responsible to the Director.

This is an important role within the organisation and the Arts Access Officer is responsible for the programming and management of the Linenhall’s access programme including children’s events and engagements (RoolaBoola Children’s Arts Season, Visual Art Programme for Schools etc.); workshops and creative learning (across all ages and experience levels); community arts projects; all arts engagement projects related to equality, diversity and inclusion.

The Arts Access Officer supports the Director in the overall development of the organisation, the implementation of its programmes, and the organisation’s relationship with audiences, artists, the Arts Council, other arts organisations, audience, government departments, and other cultural agencies.

The Arts Access Officer is the Designated Liaison Person for the Centre’s Child Safeguarding Policy, overseeing implementation of the centre’s Child Safeguarding Policy on a day-to-day basis.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong personal and organisational skills, a friendly and welcoming manner and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of the Linenhall’s new Public Engagement strategy which focuses on Children and Young People; Community Engagement; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Please note that the Linenhall Arts Centre is going through a period of transition in its strategic planning and the role of Arts Access Officer, as outlined here, may be modified within the first year in agreement with the successful candidate.

Hours are 39 hours per week and can vary dependent on the time of the year and/or requirements of the role. Attendance at evening performances and events will be required as part of the working week along with occasional weekend work. Some degree of flexibility is required.

This is a full-time role with a one-year probationary period.

Salary: €32,000 with the potential for an incremental increase after year 1 and year 2.

Interviews to take place W/C Mon 1 Nov.
