Theatre Forum and the Green Arts Initiative in Ireland held an online Green Artists Forum on 23rd March 2022, as part of the Greening Arts Centres project. The session focussed on how artists are addressing climate change in their creative practice. We looked at some of the projects which form part of the first Creative Climate Action Scheme and identified some of the challenges and rewards for artists in confronting the challenge of climate change.

Amongst the artists contributing on the day were Lisa Fingleton, Donal Gallagher and Maeve Stone. The session gave insights and practical examples which we hope will be useful to all those thinking about addressing climate change in their work, or concerned about the carbon footprint of their practice.
